Q: What is natural stone?
A: Natural stone is a generic term used for all products that originate from quarries and are works of nature. They have been used as building and decorative material for thousands of years and have stood the test of time. Some of the most common examples of natural stone are Granite, Marble, Quartzite, Sandstone, Onyx.
Q: What are the advantages of using natural stone?
A: Natural stones are highly durable, incredibly beautiful and very unique. Each slab varies in color and texture and thus provides an exclusive look. The wide range of products in this category can provide a soothing oasis or a bold dramatic statement to reflect the homeowners taste.
Q: Why is granite the most preferred countertop product?
A: Granite kitchen countertops are sturdy enough to withstand exposure to acidic substances like lemon, vinegar, tomato, alcohol. They are also the hardest and densest stone which is heat resistant and scratch resistant to provide convenience while cooking. Moreover, since Granite slabs are a work of nature, no two slabs will be exactly the same, adding a unique element to any kitchen.
Q: What is the best way to maintain my granite stone?
A: Granite countertops can be cleaned with Ph-balanced natural stone cleaner. It is important to ensure that the natural stone has been sealed after installation.
Q: What are the different stone finishes available in natural stone?
A: There are many different finishes available for granite. Choosing the right finish depends on the application and usage of the stone. Below is a summary of available finishes:
Polished – This finish produces a glossy, mirror like surface. The stone goes through grinding, sanding, and buffing.
Honed – This finish provides a smooth, matte finish which is best for low maintenance, high traffic applications. Grinding and sanding are completed.
Flamed – This finish is produced by subjecting the stone to high temperature flame of a torch and burning most of the carbon content, leaving textured Quartzites with gentle coloration.
Q: What are typical stone sizes (dimensions and thickness)?
A: Natural stone slabs vary in sizes depending on the block. Granite is, on an average, 120 inches by 70 inches. Marble is usually 115 inches by 65 inches. The exact measurements will always be shared with you at the time the material is approved. Granite and Marble are available in 2cm and 3cm thickness.

Q: What is Engineered Stone/Quartz?
A: Engineered stone is a man-made composite stone made of 93% Quartz crystals and 7% resin. It is non-porous, stain resistant and maintenance free. It’s consistency in color and pattern provides a sheek, modern and reliable look for any size project.
Q: What are the different stone finishes available in engineered stone (quartz)?
A: Engineered stone is available in Polished, Honed and Flamed finishes. Choosing the right finish depends on the usage and look you desire.

A: Our granite is sourced from varies quarries. We have created groupings of material for your convenience. Any material in the same group can be combined together in a container.
Q: Can I combine Quartz colors into one container order?
A: We can combine any number of Quartz colors in a container order.
Q: What is the usual delivery time for container orders?
A: A container order typically takes 60-90days of transit time.
Q: Can I request for samples?

Q: What should I be looking for in my kitchen countertop installer?
A: A good kitchen countertop installer will ensure the following:
